Where "Sorries" are Washed About is a 16"x22" oil and cold wax painting framed in Maple to 18”x24”x1.5” that contrasts warm and cool colors. The upper left filled with energetic reds, oranges, and golds in textured, swirling brushstrokes. The lower right cools down with soft blues, grays, and whites that blend like mist.
This mix of fiery and calm tones creates a feeling of change or meeting between opposite forces—heat and cool, movement and stillness.
Cold wax combined with oil paint adds texture, making the warm areas feel raised and lively, while the cool parts feel smooth and calm. The painting invites us to explore the balance between energy and quiet in its many abstracted layers.
Each painting I create is presented in one of my handmade maple frames, wired and ready for installation. All materials I choose are archival, ensuring long-term preservation and quality
