Before Alarm Clocks captures a quiet moment just before waking. Soft grays, warm greens, and gentle whites create a calm background, while bright orange and deep cobalt green add lively pops of color.
The textured surface of oil and cold wax I created by using palette knives, cards, and fingers. These tools help me to create shapes and layered paint that has movement and energy.
The composition has no clear edges, encouraging the viewer to explore the shifting forms and depths. The mix of smooth neutral areas and vibrant colors creates a balanced, peaceful feeling, reflecting the calm and energy of early morning.
Each painting I create is presented in one of my handmade maple frames, wired and ready for installation. All materials I choose are archival, ensuring long-term preservation and quality.
