Serenity, wisdom, connection, community, and inspiration are just a few of the concepts that encompass this body of work. The grain of consciousness series began from a directive that I received during a traditional indigenous ceremony. The message was for me to "Shine a Light". I interpreted that as an opportunity to manifest in visual terms the Sacred Journey that I'd been walking my entire life. These paintings on paper depict inner and outer memories of moments connected directly to my spiritual awakening.
