Tranquility on the Trail — painted from a photo I took on the trail to see Maroon Bells in Colorado. This piece features False Solomon’s Seal, a native Colorado plant, and captures earthy forest floor textures and colors punctuated by the vibrant greens of the native flora. Visiting Colorado was an experience that influenced my growing interest in native Alabama flora. Painted with heavy texture on cradled wood panel, varnished, and ready to hang.
