Because this perennial pops up there every year, and we see it on our walks, it always reminds me of my parents and has sentimental value. It’s a very aggressive vine that can grow up to twelve feet. It serves as a host plant for the long-tailed skipper and northern cloudywing butterflies, is pollinated by bees, and also provides food for turtles, deer, quail, and birds. Amazing!
