Northern Roots is a pastel rendition of an ephemeral artwork executed in Northern Quebec in the Reservoir Gouin.. The area had been heavily flooded to create the reservoir. As a result, there was a lot of spruce deadfall. This is one of series of works using this deadfall planted roots up along the shore of the Reservoir.
