Descent of the Incubus triptych was executed immediately following the massacre of fourteen women at the Polytechnic Institute at the University of Montreal in December 1989.
In Western medieval legend, an incubus was a demon in male form which lay on sleepers, especially on women in order to have sexual intercourse with them. The Incubus drained sexual energy from the woman in order to sustain itself, and in most cases either killed the victim or left the victim alive but in very weak or fragile condition.
Price is for the entire triptych.
