Picacho Peak is a familiar landmark that glows with Mexican poppies in the spring and offers amazing views for hikers.
On this particular day, painters throughout the state were painting on what was designated "Paint Arizona Day". Morning sun illuminated the back side of Picacho, haloing the saguaros and brilliant green shrubs.
Painting is framed in a southwest style hand carved frame, ready to hang.
