Artist: Pat Love
My education is: a double major in Art, with a concentration in painting and Art Education from McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA, plus an M.A. in Art from Northwestern State, Natchitoches, LA. I have also studied at The Art Institute in Chicago, Illinois, and took lessons from Carl Groh, who studied under Robert Henri.
My works have been in numerous exhibits including The Masur Museum, Monroe, LA, Tom Peyton Memorial Arts Festival, Alexandria, LA, purchase award, Works on Paper, Lake Charles, LA, purchase award, The Zigler Art Museum, Jennings, LA, Southern Open at Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette, LA, Architects and Artists, Lafayette, LA, Louisiana Art & Science Museum, Baton Rouge, 1911 Historic City Hall, Lake Charles,LA, solo exhibit, and most recently Swamp Spirits, a traveling exhibit.
It is FUN to bring Louisiana scenes to life through painting!
