Artist: Glenn Stokes

Glenn has been passionate about photography since he was a teenager taking pictures of ants, snakes, flowers, and beautiful landmarks, with his Mother’s Kodak camera. He bought his first Nikon Camera while attending the University of Florida in 1964. He then became the Gainesville Sun Newspaper Sports photographer. He has continued to photograph throughout his life and has owned several Nikon Cameras, his latest is the Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera. Glenn has appreciated art from an early age and has visited every art museum he could and has been an art collector all of his life.

He has made slide presentations of his photography from all over the world-Panama, Thailand, Singapore, Bahamas, Puerto Rico and throughout the United States. He has won photo contests and has sold his botanical images to book publishers. Glenn has exhibited and sold metal prints in New Iberia, Lafayette, and New Orleans.

These metal prints are made by infusing dyes directly into micro pores of coated aluminum metal sheets and that produces an extreme quality. They are waterproof, durable and do not require glass, matting or frames.
