Gary is a 2013 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating with a BFA in photography, earning the distinction of summa cum laude. He has been included in numerous group exhibitions displaying his landscape photographs and was featured in Oxford American Magazine as an emerging Southern photographer in 2012. His most recent group exhibition, Our Point in Space, was held at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette, LA. He has worked in the photographic field since college, as a digital tech and retoucher for national brands. He currently works freelance in those roles, both for commercial advertising and editorial clients. He lives in Lafayette, LA with his wife Catherine, an art professor, and their daughter Poppy.
