Funded in part by an Adams County SCFD grant, "Celebration" has six icons representing soccer, football, baseball, dance, tennis & the annual City festivals that take place on the multi-purpose fields south of the Margaret Carpenter Recreation Center. The aluminum is covered with spray paint, a process that is similar to the painting that is done on automobiles. A durable finish is created by firing the painted pieces in a kiln.
