A train trip to New York City along the Pennsylvania Railroad line takes us past a number of Penn Stations at the cities we pass along the way. Depending on whether you are one a Local Route or Express will determine which stations you stop at. On this trip we did not stop at the Trenton station but slowed as we passed, and I took a quick photograph of the people waiting for their train. Since we were moving the photographs were slightly blurry, but this encourages to me abstract the people, showing no faces but just the gestural shapes of them sitting and waiting. I felt a sense of frustration as they waited so I could get home at the end of the day.
Gallery wrapped painting, where the image continues around the side.
