It took 30 years to decide I knew how to paint this scene that I photographed on my first trip to The Netherlands. It was a very busy scene with lots of boats receding in the distance. I simplified so the focus would remain on the terrier. I decided his name was Sea Legs since he looked so at home on the sail boat.
