Sometimes the paint and paper tell you what to do and this time I agreed the high key (pale value range) was the right answer. Immediately this landscape whispered this was morning at the beach. Lots of mist and haze creating a mysterious sky not quite recognizable, but hinting at a bright sunny day to come.
