Message
A portrait that drifts between realism and abstraction, this work captures the feeling of being both seen and obscured. Soft, blended layers of rose, sienna, and shadow form a contemplative face, while bold strokes of cobalt blue cut through the image like fleeting thoughts or interruptions. Strands of hair blur into gesture, dissolving into the background’s earthy washes. The piece balances intimacy and distance, vulnerability and strength—inviting the viewer to step closer and sit with the tension between presence and disruption.
