Anne Wölk draws inspiration from futuristic architectural photos and combines sections to create new and unique designs. Her painting, "Oort Cloud," depicts a bus shelter under a sparkling starry sky at night. Wölk exaggerates the stars' light by layering thin oil paint on top of each other. The departure point in the painting looks deserted and abandoned, with the triangular shape of the painting pointing towards the horizon. The Oort Cloud is a destination that lies at the boundaries of our solar system, which is currently inaccessible to humans. The area is so dark that direct observations have not yet been possible through telescopes. In 1950, Dutch astronomer Jan Oort predicted that a vast blanket of ice and dust surrounded the solar system far out there, which is now known as the Oort Cloud.
