Anne Wölk's artwork blends the classic beauty of a winter landscape with a futuristic vision. The artist intricately weaves a tale of a visionary starry landscape where reality and fantasy intersect. The vivid colors and dynamic shapes inspire viewers to broaden their horizons beyond the boundaries.
The picture depicts a bus shelter in front of a snow-clad mountain range. The idea for the floral embellishment of the bus stop originated from Ukraine. This idea can still be observed today in a bus shelter located in the abandoned town of Pripyat. Pripyat, a world-renowned exclusion zone, will serve as a permanent learning site for the future. The Chernobyl nuclear disaster challenges our belief in constant progress and the safety of technology. In addition to floral decorations, several wall paintings in Pripyat depict visual narratives of space exploration.
