Enrosadira is the Spanish word for the phenomenon of Alpenglow. At sunset, it describes a special moment when the rugged mountain peak shines in shades of orange and pink. Contrary to experience, the canyons suddenly begin to shine. The highest peaks of the sierra seem to have a life of their own and a soul. Stone surfaces are a symbol of rigidity, immobility, and lifelessness. Impressive forms of the mountain range spread out at the horizon and never fail to amaze the beholder. They are rocks whose shape is the result of glaciers. Through their light and dark tones and the interaction of two-dimensionality and volume, the mountains create a resonance space with an endless sky and the surrounding nature. The fascination of this incredible nature experience lies in the changed perspective of time. Enrosadira is a quiet, small landscape painting with a great view of a place that affects people's behavior and emotions.
