This piece is part of a new series of small abstract fused glass works exploring movement, texture, and layered mark making. I used transparent amber glass elements over a loose painted surface to create a sense of motion without making the composition feel overly structured.
The glass panel is mounted inside a black shadow box frame with a gold-painted edge detail that helps pull the warm tones forward. It works well displayed on its own or grouped with the other pieces in this series.
I added my signature glass "tattoo" design on the side of the frame which mimics the front and adds interest.
