Another in my "sculpted CoLorField paintings came from a desire to repurpose materials. An 800' long piece of fabric constructed of the image of my painting "Orange" (Inventory # 2008-03) partially still visible is cut in to pieces that were drenched in laytex paint, scrunched and shaped over the canvas . It is a sculpture and a painting.
