Stormy Monday - after the blues song of the same title. This piece is a little "blues-y" with some "highlights of hope" in the form of bright colors painted in.
Series of 3D sculpted paintings. Created by drenching polyester fabric in laytex paint and scrunching it on to a canvas, forming the fabric edges and ridges. After it dries, the structure of the painting retains its form. An additional coat of oil paint adds texture and interest. Inspired by paintings by Karina (or Ken?) Keri-Matuszak, seen on Pinterest
