This painting was inspired by a trip to Mount Timpanogos in the Sundance Northfork Canyon. I fell in love with the natural landscape of the canyons of Utah and visiting the creative environment at the Sundance resort made me want to explore painting more of nature in abstract ways. I really enjoyed merging the more organic layers with the bold and exaggerated colors.
