I love to explore the shapes and the colors of landscapes! When my husband and I take road trips, as he drives, I can't help but lose myself in all the wonderful scenery, and usually I end up taking lots and lots of pictures. As I sort through the landscape imagery, I look for the images that somehow speak to me, and then I strengthen those messages by painting them. The act of painting releases the stories trapped in the landscapes be and can be discovered in the shapes of leaves, or in the visual rhythms of clouds, or in the intriguing patterns of barn boards.
