Walking in sunbeams down a tree-lined path, everything always seems so magical to me. The leaves glow in the sun, the trees cast long shadows that stripe the way forward, and far in the distance, I can see a sheltered tunnel that emerges into bright sunshine. The sky is so bright and the leaves make the whole spectacle shift and sparkle. I painted this with big brushstrokes and impressionistic ideas of sunlight skipping over branches.
