This piece was created for installation at the Stevens Point Sculpture Park in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. It was installed in 2018 and removed in 2021.
Fabricated was created as an exploration into how steel and fiber relate to each other visually and physically. Combined into a large public sculpture, it invited views to touch the surface and enjoy the juxtaposition of the textures, material temperatures, and stiffness of the metal and the fiber.
