A painting done after a morning walk while camping with my traveling art studio at Carroll Hill. It was fire season, so the sunsets and sunrises were exceptionally colorful. Smoke rolled in the next day on me so thick I had to cut my experience short. I will return to this area because of its Rolling Hills, Valleys, Mountains, and Hiking Trails. I found endless inspiration here. It's not too far from an area I have gone backpacking into for a week once a year for several years now, and it has a feeling of home to me.
