Soft pastel plein-air painting: I work to keep these paintings fast and done within 15-30 minutes to allow for more time for exploring and hiking. I love going out in cold weather to see sunrises and sunsets, so I can't sit in one place for too long. I am pretty happy if I get 1-5 paintings done in an outing. I mat and clipped this painting in glass because I love the modern look, and it helps keep the price affordable for art lovers and allows them to choose their own frames to suit their home if they wish.
