Artist’s Statement: Since adopting a puppy in Spain in 2015, I have been meeting lots of different dogs. Soon after, I started a series called “Dogs I Met.” This piece is a collection of a few of my favorite dogs surrounding a portrait of the Queen Cat, a Calico named Cecilia who reigns over all of them. My art is created for fun – mine and the viewers. My hope is that people smile when they look at it and remember a dog or cat that they loved.
