Artist’s Statement: By using my sewing skills and improvisational techniques, I make quilts — fiber art that represents my view of the world. There is joy and pride in showing the beauty around us. All of my artworks are designed and created to show the colors, rhythms, and experiences of life. Fiber is an integral part of our existence from birth to death, and here serves as a stabilizing “thread” of calm and beauty for families caught in tumultuous times.
