Artist’s Statement: Every season the East Bay hills offer a vast opportunity for outdoor recreation and enjoyment. At times the beauty of a scene only last for a brief moment, and through photography I strive to capture that moment and create a feeling of being there, experiencing that moment in time. Preserving that moment doesn’t stop with the click of the shutter. My belief is that the process of making the print is just as important as the process of making the exposure.
