While in residence with AIRIE, she was inspired by the forms, vibrant colors, and history of the Mission 66 architecture, the Natural History Archive, the natural sounds of the Everglades, and lastly, the magnificent colors found inherently in the landscape at dawn and sunset. These images are created by projecting images collected from the park onto buildings and trees in site-specific locations and photographing the result.
