Pitcher, 6.675 inches tall. Brown transfer with polychrome clobbering. Unknown maker. Pattern center appears on both sides. A Japanese mat or platform welcomes one with a cup & saucer, a bird, small branches and flowers and a vase with a peacock feather and flower stem. Beneath the platform a small dragon lurks with a pine branch. There is an embossed border at the lip and near the base, with a printed border at the very base of the pitcher.
