Tureen with lid (no ladle). Brown transfer with polychrome clobbering. Unknown maker. This pattern features a thorny rose branch in blossom with a songbird sitting in a nest. Another songbird, presumably the former's mate, is in flight below. The border consists of a thin, thorny branch. The motif of the bird in a next appears on either side of the tureen body as well.
