Vase, 10.25 inches tall. Blue transfer. Unknown maker. This pattern features a scroll cartouche depicting a heron in flight heading towards a pond with water lilies and cattails. The scroll is pierced by a thorny branch with blossoms. One bird has a ring in its mouth which is hanging from the thorny branch. Another bird flies above. A stylized butterfly and sprigs of flowers and foliage fill the remaining empty space.
