Pitcher, 6.5 inches tall. Blue transfer. Printed maker's mark for Dunn, Bennett & Co. This pattern features various Asian/Japanese motifs that are placed around the body of the pitcher paired with long, narrow branches with clumps of flowers. One of the largest motifs is a five-section fan and two small round cartouches, both with sailboats in the distance.

Established in 1876 by William Dunn and his son-in-law William Wood-Bennett. Dunn, Bennett & Co manufactured earthenware and ironstone for both the home and American markets. Around 1908 it was incorporated as a limited company.
