Soap Dish, 5.5 x 5.5 x 3 inches. Maker unknown at this time, but the J. P. could be James Plant of Registry Street, Stoke. He operated c. 1880-1888. This pattern features fruit. The body of the soap dish features blackberries on thorny branches, while the lid features a sprig of cherries and a lone blackberry hiding behind spiky leaves. The border, seen on the insert rim and the lid handle, is a band of cherries.
