Vase, 5.625 inches tall. Red transfer. Maker is G. W. Turner & Sons. This aptly named pattern features branches with highly-stylized flowers and leaves curving around the body of the vase. Two small curious birds perch on a lower branch and look off to the left.

From 1861 to 1873 as Turner & Tomkinson when Tomkinson retired and the business was carried on by George Wardle Turner and his sons under the style of G.W. Turner & Sons. From c. 1887 to 1892 they also operated at the Alexandra Pottery, Scotia Road, Tunstall.
