“Memento Universum XII” is a painting that I view as a reflection on our place within the universe. I use slices of lemons to represent obstacles and problems that have been overcome. A kiwi symbolizes generosity and openness, a cut in half kiwi can be viewed as generosity shared with friends. Flowers to show “time” and the temporary aspect of all living things (good and bad).
