Thrift Store Redo From Lakeland Arts Association

This is an open call for Thrift Store Redo artwork.  Artists can buy a painting or sculpture and use that as a springboard for something new and wonderful!  See the rules below.

Please submit a photo of the original painting before your alterations begin. 

This is an open call for Thrift Store Redo artwork.  
Pieces must be purchased from a thrift store or a garage sale.  
You cannot spend more than $25.  
If they come framed, you must use the existing frame. 
They cannot be larger than 30 inches in any direction.
You cannot provide more than a 25% alteration - so pick wisely.  This is an upgrade, not a reworking- that is the UNstuck challenge.
This is open to any media.
The piece must come in ready for display - wired for hanging, self supporting for free standing work, etc. 

Drop off will be Friday, January 2nd from 10 - 2.  The show will open Saturday, January 3rd at our Artist Walk from 6 - 9 pm.   Work can be collected January 28th from 10- 2 or January 31 from 10 - 2.

There will be a $10 entry fee collected at drop off.   Any work sold will incur a 30% commission for the Depot.
