16th Annual International Juried Exhibition at Gallery 110 From Gallery 110

Since 2011, Gallery 110’s annual juried exhibition has showcased work by emerging and established artists, with pieces chosen by a prominent juror with ties to the artistic community of the Pacific Northwest. Our nonprofit gallery's location and reputation offer artists exposure to professional reviews, access to Seattle’s Pioneer Square Creative District, and participation in the First Thursday Art Walk, which averages 1,000+ visitors per month.

Gallery 110 invites emerging and established artists to submit original artwork in any two- or three-dimensional media for consideration for the 16th Annual International Juried Exhibition. This is an OPEN CALL.

FEES: The basic entry fee is $40, which allows you to upload images of up to 3 works. Add $10 for each additional image you wish to show the juror, up to 10 images total. Payment must be in US dollars. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Our nonprofit organization's aim is to be accessible to a broad range of artists. Entry fees are crucial to this annual exhibition's funding; however, if the application fee causes a financial hardship, please contact [email protected]. 

NOTIFICATIONS: Finalists will be notified by email & phone and will need to return signed, dated, and scanned consignment agreements within 7 days of notification. Artists whose work has been selected will be responsible for the framing and delivery of work to Gallery 110 by the morning of Sunday, January 31st, 2027. Shipping, delivery, and return instructions will be provided with the acceptance notification. Delivery and return shipping charges are the artist’s responsibility, and prepaid return shipping labels must accompany works.

Artists must be 18+ years of age.

ARTWORK: The Artwork shall be defined as any two- or three-dimensional objects to be loaned to Gallery 110 for display in an exhibition as specified in the Loan Agreement.

VERIFICATION: The loaned Artwork(s) must be the same as those specified in the Loan Agreement. Gallery 110 reserves the right not to exhibit Artwork not identified on the Loan Agreement. If Artwork arrives at Gallery 110 that is not identified on the Loan Agreement form, the Artist will be contacted immediately and will be responsible for any additional shipping costs resulting from the error.

EXHIBITION: Gallery 110 will install and display Artwork, providing a professional and aesthetically pleasing presentation. All artwork must be delivered ready to display/hang. Gallery 110 reserves the right to make final aesthetic decisions on all artwork and may eliminate works if they are not display-ready, fail to meet a level of professionalism suitable for gallery display, or were inaccurately represented to the juror.

POSSESSION: Gallery 110 will not rent or loan the Artwork to any other person and will retain control of the Artwork at all times while in the possession of Gallery 110. The Artist will not be allowed to rearrange or remove Artwork before the end of the exhibition period stated in the Loan Agreement. Should a work be sold, it will be picked up, delivered, or shipped at the end of the show; the Artist will receive the purchaser's details.

CONDITION REPORTS: For Artwork shipped to the Gallery that arrives in a damaged container, Gallery 110 will complete a condition report upon unpacking. Damage will be photographed and reported to the Artist; if repair is needed, the Artist will decide how best to proceed.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND REPRODUCTION: The Artist grants permission for the Artwork listed in the Loan Agreement to be photographed for advertising and publicity purposes in both electronic and print media in connection with this exhibition. Photographs and reproductions shall be used solely as permitted by Sections 107 and 108 of the United States Copyright Law, and all publication, reproduction, and public display shall be limited to publicity and educational use. The Artist reserves and retains all other rights to the Artwork and must give permission for any other permanent publication.

SHIPPING: Artists are responsible for all shipping costs both to and from the Gallery. Please provide a prepaid return shipping label with the delivery of the Artwork to the Gallery. Pick up hand-delivered works at the end of the exhibition; any Artwork left at the Gallery beyond four weeks from the exhibition end-date will be considered property of the Gallery unless the Director has a written agreement for an extension.

PACKING:  Please do not use Styrofoam peanuts! All Artwork, whether shipped or delivered in person, should be in secure, protective packaging with no corners or edges of the work exposed. Artwork will be repacked for return to the Artist by the same method as received. If the incoming method or materials are deemed insufficient or inappropriate, the Artist will be consulted about packing improvements for the journey home. Costs for packing improvements will be paid by the Artist prior to the Artwork's return.

INSURANCE: Gallery 110 will take the greatest care in handling the Artwork. All Artwork will be fully insured while in Gallery 110 up to the value of $5,000 per item.  Artwork valued at over $5,000 will require additional insurance provided by the artist in order to be fully covered. The Artist indemnifies Gallery 110 from loss, damage, liability, or expense resulting from injury to a person or damage to property arising out of the Artwork’s presence in the Gallery. 

SALES: Entries must be for sale and priced with the intent to sell. A 50% Gallery commission will be deducted from sales. The Gallery will charge and remit all applicable sales taxes. If buyers require shipping, Gallery 110 will coordinate the shipment but shipping costs must be paid by buyer or artist. Artists will receive their commissions within 60 days of sale.
