The Annual Salon Show is AVA's biggest member artist showcase. This year marks AVA's 40th Anniversary supporting the local art ecosystem and accordingly, we we want to include as many of our member artists in this show to celebrate! Each year, in time for the holidays, we fill the gallery floor to ceiling with work from our local artist community. This is also our best selling show annually, as visitors and patrons are often looking to purchase holiday gifts.

Eligibility Criteria:
The rules are simple. Submit one piece and it gets in (barring a few considerations listed below).
All media are allowed. New media or works requiring additional logistical considerations should include a plan for install that must be approved by the Gallery Director and also be mindful of the large group format of this particular show. There is no fee for AVA members to submit. Membership will be verified by AVA staff upon submission. There is no theme for this show but the work should be a good representation of your current work or practice.

Application Requirements:
Please include the following material in your submission:
- Clear (portfolio quality) image of your work (appropriate for online listing, social media and distribution). If the quality of your image has any of the following issues (keystoned, is poorly lit, blurry or contains excess information unrelated to the artwork), AVA reserves the right to exclude the work from online listing, social media and marketing materials.

Rules and Terms:
- All artwork must be original to the artist. No master studies, student work from classroom assignments or reproductions will be accepted.
- Size limit- The artwork must be no more than 36"x36". We will accept variable framing beyond that but you should include that information in your submission along with the artwork. f you have concerns about something that is over that amount by a little bit, reach out to our Gallery Director for support and advising before submitting. However, this show functions best with a variety of sizes, media and prices.
- Please do not submit work that has already been exhibited at AVA in the past.
- 2D works MUST be ready to hang at time of delivery (d-rings and wire with minimal slack, a quarter or a third of the way down on the back of the piece or a saw-tooth hanger for smaller works). 3D works must have a hanging system (if suspended) or a secure base (if to be displayed on a pedestal). Absolutely NO loose works on paper will be accepted without an appropriate plan and means of display that must be approved by the AVA Gallery Director.
- No artworks including live animals or live vegetation will be accepted.
- No artworks including sexually explicit imagery will be accepted.
- AVA reserves the right to reject works that are misrepresented in the submission process or are not properly outfitted to display in the gallery.
