Eight quick sketch and/or plein air paintings.
While I usually create paintings over days, weeks, or even months in the studio, I occasionally do smaller paintings that are quickly sketched, including those that are created in one or two sessions at the actual scene (en plein air). These tend to be fresh and colorful, and it helps me exercise essential skills.
