Staves I and II is part of a modular series of woven cardboard panels that can be arranged in response to a specific site. Constructed from reclaimed consumer packaging, the work fragments familiar graphics, labels, and shipping marks through a process of cutting and weaving. Each panel functions as an independent unit while remaining part of a larger system capable of expansion, compression, and rearrangement. The exposed edges and suspended strands reveal the structure of the weave, emphasizing process, construction, and the material history of the cardboard itself. By transforming discarded packaging into adaptable architectural elements, the work examines repetition, accumulation, and the possibility of building complexity from simple parts.
