In my career, I have always been intrigued by the richness that my hand sometimes delivered on paper, surprising me with new universes and dreamlike alphabets. As Roland Barthes said, to change the world you had to change the language. In the grip of this enthusiasm, I liked to visualize different graphologies of ancient cultures, for example the Egyptian or Babylonian ones. Roland Barthes himself had written a book called "L'empire des signes" about it, and thanks to him I delighted in imagining my own language.
Nella mia carriera sono sempre stata incuriosita dalla ricchezza che la mia mano a volte operava sulla carta, sorprendendomi con dei nuovi universi e alfabeti onirici. Come diceva Roland Barthes, per cambiare il mondo bisognava cambiare la lingua. In preda a questo entusiasmo, mi piaceva visualizzare delle diverse grafologie di antiche culture, per esempio quelle egiziane o babilonesi. Roland Barthes stesso aveva scritto un libro chiamato "L'empire des signes" a riguardo, e grazie a lui mi dilettavo a immaginare il mio proprio linguaggio.
