Clessidra 1980 London, 1980

The Hourglass, as a metaphysical symbol of my art, was a childhood need to create for me a space opposed to that environment in order to survive, my philosophy. Later, in a 1980 London drawing, it appears in clear and definite form as spirituality to affirm the dynamism of breaths. Imagining the upper part, i.e., the Cone that is based in the Universe, I make the Divine Universal Heart (Compassion, Understanding) coincide in the center, along with the Sun. The Cone that rests on the ground, and completes the hourglass, on the other hand, must have the strength to know how to turn it over when the time inside, that is, the sand, is finished. Only in Paris in 1983, studying Denis Diderot at the Sorbonne, who spoke about the Pyramid Humaine, did I understand the practical application of my hourglass to Earth Life. Through meditation I helped people to visualize the sand spilling over the earth bringing divine energy, and with this reversal I understood that one could be reborn.

La Clessidra come simbolo metafisico della mia arte fu un'esigenza infantile di crearmi uno spazio opposto a quell'ambiente per sopravvivere, la mia filosofia. In seguito, in un disegno di Londra del 1980, appare in forma chiara e definita come spiritualità per affermare il dinamismo dei respiri. Immaginando la parte alta, cioè il Cono che ha base nell'UniVerso, faccio coincidere al centro, insieme al Sole, il Cuore Universale Divino (Compassione, Comprensione). Il cono che poggia a terra, e che completa la clessidra, invece deve avere la forza di saper rigirare la stessa quando con il tempo all'interno, ovvero la sabbia, é finita. Solo a Parigi nel 1983, studiando Denis Diderot alla Sorbonne, che parlava della Piramide Humaine, compresi l'applicazione pratica della mia clessidra alla Vita Terrestre. Con la meditazione ho aiutato persone a visualizzare la sabbia che si riversa sulla terra portando energia divina e con questo rovesciamento capivo che si poteva rinascere.
