Civiltà Etrusca, 2017

After the inauguration of my ATELIER in VOLTERRA, the Etruscan Civilization began to infuse my Spirit with a breath of ANCIENT AIR! From this pot that began "boiling" upon my arrival in Volterra when the intrigues of the Architect in charge of the Restoration of my Atelier became dangerous...to the portrait of my grandmother Pasquarosa Ricci who appeared to remind me that Etruscan blood also flowed in my veins...to the characters of Virginio, Metello and Lavinia who came to remind me from the GREAT CULT of the SOUL among the Etruscans.
Any deceased usually proceeded on foot to the hellish abode, other times on horseback, but their journey was always terrifying, escorted by menacing hellish gods. It seems that Dante, for the Inferno, was inspired by the paintings of demons he had admired in the tombs of Tarquinia.
Special saving practices contained in the "Acheruntic Books," however, offered the possibility of alleviating the condition of souls through rituals, performed at the tombs.

"Perhaps this is the meaning of the mocking smile of the Etruscans, as if to emphasize that the enigma is us."
An "Etruscan smile" reflected in a mirror surprises me in these days of September 2022 almost to confirm that I can no longer sell my Atelier next to the Etruscan Museum but keep it as a Residency base!

Dopo l’inaugurazione del mio ATELIER a sVOLTERRA la Civiltà Etrusca iniziò a infondere nel mio spiRITO una ventata di ARIA ANTICA! Da questa pentola che iniziò "a bollire" al mio arrivo a Volterra quando gli intrighi dell'Architetta addetta al Restauro del mio Atelier
divennero pericolosi…al ritratto di mia nonna Pasquarosa Ricci che mi apparve per rievocarmi che anche nelle nostre vene scorreva sangue etrusco…ai personaggi di Virginio, Metello e Lavinia che vennero a riCORdarmi dal GRANDE CULTO dell'ANIMA presso gli Etruschi.
Qualsiasi defunto procedeva di solito a piedi verso la dimora infernale, altre volte a cavallo, ma il suo viaggio era sempre terrificante, scortato da minacciosi dei infernali. Pare che Dante, per l’Inferno, si fosse ispirato alle pitture dei Demoni che aveva ammirato nelle tombe di Tarquinia.
Speciali pratiche di salvazione contenute nei "Libri acheruntici" offrivano tuttavia la possibilità di alleviare la condizione delle anime attraverso riti, compiuti presso le tombe.

"Forse è questo il significato del sorriso beffardo degli Etruschi, come a sottolineare che l’enigma siamo noi."
Un „sorriso etrusco“ riflesso in uno specchio mi sorprende in questi giorni di settembre 2022 quasi per confermarmi che non posso piú vendere il mio Atelier vicino al Museo Etrusco ma tenerlo come base Residenza!
