Reclaimed Douglas fir (old wood studs from a house) cut, laminated, carved and sanded for a smooth finish. The sculpture is finished with linseed oil and is mounted on a wood board, finished with a splash of black chalkboard paint. Also, please note the "tear" of sap that six months after I finished the piece "magically" appeared. It was hidden inside a pocket in the wood and found its way to the surface and slowly went down the wood.
