A personal mantra of mine is "I Need Space to Dream and Grow." Distance gives perspective so I've spent a lot of my life chasing new experiences away from the comfort of my family home and sometimes even my partner. This work features more space between the orchids which allows them more room to breathe and operate independently. I think it conveys how I feel when I set sights on my next adventure and have to momentarily say good bye to my loved ones in order to grow and also appreciate them more fully. I'm reminded of how lucky I am that my loved ones allow me the space to dream and grow.
