Acquired at the 2016 Winter Park Paint Out -- This painting was purchased by Kevin Miller after a discussion with the Matthew Cornell during the Winter Park Paint Out's Sponsors and Patrons dinner. Matthew was very proud of this image and his use of blowing leaves to illustrate the power of the wind. Matthew also mentioned some of the leaves were added to the painting to cover up insects in the wet paint - an ongoing hazard when plein air painting in Florida!
